Katch Kan · Est. 1994

It started on the rig floor.

Quinn Holtby started in the oil patch in 1978. Over the next eight years he worked his way from roughneck to driller, and he saw the job up close, including what it left behind: preventable accidents, wasted fluid, and spills soaking into the ground and water.

He set out to fix it. In 1994 he founded Katch Kan with one goal, to protect the workers on the rig and the land and water around them. He engineered the Kelly Kan, a containment system that catches and redirects drilling fluid before it ever reaches the ground. It worked. Katch Kan grew into a complete Zero Spill System, earned 64 patents, and now runs on rigs in more than 60 countries.

Three decades of that work proved one thing: tough and responsible are not opposites. You can build something that stands up to the hardest job on earth and still keeps people and the planet safe.

Kan Klean is that idea, brought home. Quinn and the Katch Kan team took the standard they hold on the rig and put it in a bottle for your kitchen, your garage, and your laundry room. A plant-based cleaner built to oilfield-grade toughness, then made non-toxic, fabric safe, and safe for greywater and septic.

Same founder. Same promise. Tough enough for the field. Safe for your family.
