From oil spills to your garage floor

Here's a claim worth testing: a cleaner that can pull crude oil out of beach sand can absolutely handle the stain on your garage floor. It sounds like marketing. It started as science.
The mess nobody wants
Oil and grease are hard to clean for a simple reason. They don't dissolve in water, and they cling. Petroleum in particular carries a group of compounds called PAH, short for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. PAH are the stubborn, oily fraction that soaks into concrete and fabric and refuses to let go. If you've ever scrubbed a dark patch on the driveway and watched it laugh at you, you've met them.
What the studies found
Before this formula was ever bottled for the home, independent professionals put it up against the worst versions of that mess. Consulting geologist James "Rip" Kirby tested it on crude oil and weathered tar. The result he documented is the kind of number that gets your attention: the PAH levels dropped from very high to non-detect in three to seven days. Not reduced a little. Down to the point the instruments could no longer find them.
The same body of testing showed the formula worked on JP-5 jet fuel and aviation hydraulic fluid, two of the messes that turn up around airports. And it did something clever while it worked. In treated soil, the contaminants bound to the formula instead of spreading, which kept the problem from creeping into clean ground nearby. It cleaned, and it contained.
Why that matters in your house
You are not remediating a spill site. You are cleaning a floor, a stovetop, a load of work clothes. But the chemistry doesn't know the difference between crude on a beach and bacon grease on a burner. It goes after the same oily bonds. That is the whole reason Kan Klean can wear three hats at once: laundry detergent, all-purpose cleaner, and degreaser, from a single bottle.
The everyday version
Think about where oil and grease actually live in a normal week. The garage floor, with its slow drip map under the truck. Work clothes that smell like the shop no matter how hot you wash them. The range hood and the backsplash behind the stove. The wheel wells, the tools, the hands at the end of the day. Those are the same category of stain the studies took to non-detect. Kan Klean brings that capability home, at a strength that's safe for your family, your fabrics, and the water it goes down the drain into.
Tough where it counts
We like this study because it proves the boring, important thing: the formula does what we say on the front of the bottle. It was tested by someone with no reason to flatter it, on messes far worse than yours, and it held up. So the next time a stain laughs at you, hand it something that has already beaten crude oil.
